Gypsum Wall Board
Flooring (Carpet, Tile, Hardwood, etc)
All of these types of flooring go on the top layer. It is the final touch to the house design. Hardwood is common on a downstairs floor or kitchen, where as tile is most often in the bathroom alone. The carpet is another common type for housing, especially the upstairs floor. To decorate hardwood, people may put down a rug.

Finish Carpentry (Baseboards, Chair Railing, Crown Molding, etc)
Baseboards go on the bottom of the walls inside a house. They typically connect the wall and floor. Chair Railing goes in the middle of the wall, but is not always used. It is about the height of a chair's back. Typically a design goes below this layer and a solid color goes above it. Crown molding goes on the top of the interior walls. It connects the ceiling and the wall. These all are used to add a decorative touch to the walls.
